Professionalization

The Graduate Student Committe organizes different workshops during the academic yera. In these worshops, students are provided with tools, advise, and training to pursue different academic tasks. Faculty and graduate students are actively involved in the workshops.
There are a variety of workshops on such topics as how to choose a conference, teaching tips, dissertation writing, publishing, CV/application writing, interviewing, and contract negotiations every semester to prepare future faculty and professionals for a successful career in and beyond graduate school.
As part of their mission to provide graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with the resources they need to succeed, the Office of Professional Development offers workshop opportunities in multiple areas. Click here to visit their registration site to find workshops and enroll.
Be sure to visit our graduate webpage to see the latest on graduate professionalization offered through Purdue University or through the School of Languages and Cultures.
